Asian Beauty: Aesthetics of the East:동양의 미학 東洋美學

This course examines major topics in East Asian aesthetics focusing primarily on the arts and ideas about beauty in Japan, China, and Korea. The course will use Japan's codification of its own aesthetics as a starting point to compare and contrast the the ideals that underpin the rest of East Asia's cultural and aesthetic norms—the things that considered tasteful and beautiful. 

이 수업은 주로 일본, 중국, 한국의 예술에서의 미를 가지고, 동아시아 미학의 주요 주제를 다룬다. 학기과제는 비교되는 주제를 심도 있게 다루어야 한다.
